What is a Management Committee Member?
Also called a ‘trustee’ or a ‘director’, management committee members are the individuals that oversee the operations of voluntary organisations.
How much time would I need to volunteer?
Usually anywhere from 2– 6 hours per month. There are opportunities available during the day and the evening.
What skills are Needed?
Management Committees offer you the opportunity to share, learn or improve your business skills and contribute to the local community. In general, you must be over 18 and live or work in the Stirlingshire area.
Any of the following skills would be useful however many opportunities will provide complete training.
- Business Planning & Strategy
- Accounting and Bookkeeping
- Marketing & Media
- Human Resources
- Fundraising
- Health & Safety
- Decision Making
