sportscotland , in partnership with the Volunteer Centre Network , has appointed 6 Regional Development Officers for Volunteering in Sport. Gillian Glover is based in the Volunteer Centre, Stirling. She will be working closely with key organisations within our areas in order to develop and promote good practice for involving volunteers in sport. |
How can we assist you?
- Supply information and good practice advice for involving volunteers in sport.
- Provide support and advice in developing a systematic framework for the recruitment, recognition and retention of volunteers.
- Help you to work towards ensuring equality of access to volunteering in sport.
- Give information on, and deliver when appropriate, training that will meet the needs of your organis a tion.
- Encourage networking between organisations and strengthen links with the Volunteer Centre Network
