The work on the establishment of the Hub continues. VC Stirling was successful in obtaining £20,000 from the Stirling Community Planning Partnership to fund a feasibility study and prepare a business plan for submission to prospective funders.
Devlin Beattie was appointed as the consultants after process of tender.

Stirling 's community and voluntary sector provides a range of services and activities which support and improve the quality of life for people in the city.
These organisations need to be supported by high quality, effective and valued support services (this is often referred to as infrastructure) that are fit for purpose and widely available for all front line community and voluntary organizations, and more importantly, meets the needs of the charities and voluntary organisations who carry out front line work to make life better for the people of the city.
The vision is to develop a HUB for the voluntary sector, offering top-class fully serviced office accommodation and a wide range of facilities and resources for voluntary organisations based in and around Stirling.
The HUB would offer much more than just desks and floor space with security, reception and cleaning services. You and your organisation would also have access to one of the best-equipped IT spaces in Stirling with state-of-the-art PC and phone systems, top-of-the-range printers and copiers, full networking and wireless broadband, laptops, data projectors, video conferencing facilities a range of meeting rooms and state of the art training facilities.
The aim would be to create a space where you can share the benefits of working together with like-minded people and organisations .
The aim is to make the Stirling HUB the best possible environment for voluntary organisations to work, to network, train and create a centre of excellence.
