VOLUNTEER MANAGERS' FORUM

Who should attend?

Anyone who manages, supervises or co-ordinates volunteers, either in a paid or voluntary capacity, is welcome to attend. This may include co-ordinators, administrators, managers, and volunteers.

What is the Volunteer Management Forum?

It is an opportunity to meet and discuss issues relating to volunteering in Stirling and to provide a local network of contacts for those wishing to share good practice.

At each session you will meet with other people who manage volunteers and share ideas and skills for successful recruitment, retention and motivation of volunteers.

Apart from networking over lunch and brief information sessions, each session will include a 1 hour workshop where forum members will have the opportunity to share their experiences on what has and has not worked for them on a variety of topics such as:

  • Recruiting, Screening and matching Volunteers
  • Supporting & Motivating Volunteers
  • CRBS & POCSA legislation
  • Working with Volunteers with Support Needs
  • Involving Volunteers in your organisation
  • Capacity Building for Volunteer Managers
  • Training Volunteers
  • Health & Safety, Insurance
  • Data Protection

Next Forum 1st September - see Booking Form for details
