Volunteer Management Training Programme – 2008

Volunteer Centre Stirling in partnership with Volunteer Centre Falkirk are offering a series of Advanced level courses that are suitable for anyone who organises or coordinates volunteers.

Each course will run from 9:45am – 4:00pm and will take place at Volunteer Development Scotland offices in Stirling. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.

This course aims to equip participants with the knowledge to address relevant health and safety issues which impact on volunteering in their setting and an overview of risk management. The course aims to focus on addressing the issues surrounding volunteer-staff relations. It will include discussion of how the role of the volunteer manager and exploring strategies for building effective volunteer-staff relations.
